Romantic Fiction Author Rusty Blackwood’s March Newsletter 2014!

The shamrocks are put away for another year, and the elusive Leprechaun once again managed to escape before I could demand his pot of gold be handed over. I’ve tried for years to nab that little fellow, but he always seems to be one step ahead. Maybe it truly is magic. Who knows for sure? Oh well, there’s always next year! The month of March has seen a lot of action with the coming and going of St. Patrick Day celebrations, turbulent weather, and literary activity, and now on with my news of March.

>> Over the past while preparations have been continuing on a new 3-part, audio/video series entitled, ‘An Evening with Rusty Blackwood.’ I am happy to announce the completion of that most interesting series where I get to sit back and discuss numerous sides and aspects of my work, why I’ve chosen the difficult path that I have, as well as discussing my experiences along the way. The first of this informative series is now available for listening pleasure on my official website at:  https://rusty-blackwood.com. Find it under the Bio/Contact/Interview portion of the site, and please pass this info along to those who are interested in why someone chooses to do what a writer does.

>> Be sure to catch my newest Press Release just out today at: http://ow.ly/v30vE

which speaks of ‘An Evening with Rusty Blackwood’ and very graciously escorts you to front aisle, center. For those choosing to interact with me with regard to this audio/video series please do so by commenting at my website, or forwarding your opinions and comments via the provided e-mail area. It was a pleasure to sit down and discuss my work with Mr. Don McCauley in a laid-back fashion, and I send a huge thank you to Don for this, as well as all he does with regard to my work.

>> I also did another Internet radio interview with Mr. Joe Crawford, Internet Radio/TV Host, comedian and musician extraordinaire of The Joe Show Live which is airing April 2, 2014 between 8-10 pm at: https://www.facebook.com/JoeShowLive. I had an absolute blast doing this fun interview, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did doing it. Thank you, Joe!

>> I was also asked to do an interview with Indie author Catherine Townsend-Lyon for her Blog Just a Recovering Author Learning to be a Better Writer. This was an interesting interview to do for she only asks two questions, the rest is totally of her own words and talents and she done me proud! It was released on her Blog on March 2, 2014 and you may catch it here at: http://anauthorandwriterinprogress.wordpress.com/2014/03/01/im-pleased-to-welcome-writer-and-author-rusty-blackwood/  A huge thank you to Catherine, and please be sure to visit her site at: http://anauthorandwriterinprogress.wordpress.com/home-about-me/ where you will find links to her very informative new book.

>> Over the course of time I have been trying my hand at video creation which is not an easy task. My hat is off to those who make it appear effortless and sprinkled with magic throughout the course of its limited time run. Two in a series of three have been completed, and you may check these out at YouTub.com under ‘A Retrospect: Images Behind the Words –Vol. 1 at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q71kQY9Oueo, and Vol. 2 at: http://youtu.be/7tg4Vur-up0.

Note: Both of these videos were produced with no momentary intention but instead to bring awareness to my work, the words that I write, and the many faces behind the words. The musical selections I have chosen to accompany the images are two of my favourites, sung by two of my favourite artists and with no intent of copyright infringement.

>> Progress steadily continues on my riveting upcoming romance/drama, ‘Willow’s Walk,’ an insightful, heart-touching romantic drama that takes a magnified look into the controversial life of  Willow Sutherland Crosby, the often unsettling road she walks, and what happens when the road drops off before her. Check my website often for insightful excerpts.

As March 2014 nears its end I would once again like to extend my thanks and gratitude for all of your continued support with regard to my efforts in the field of writing. Without any one of you, the road would be a much more difficult one to travel. Your input is always required, as well as welcomed, and I hope I can continue to produce the quality of work that you’ve come to expect.

And as always, support your local authors, as well as all your local talent in the Arts!

Cheers!

Rusty.
